The Mrs dragged me to a Bryan Adams gig last November (it was her birthday so whatever she wants right) at my least favourite venue, Sheffield Arena.
He was bloody brilliant and I loved it.

Having spent 9 years living in Yorkshire, I also loathe Sheffield Arena. ****ing terrible place. Not a good seat in the house.

If they were disliked, it would be by people who simply hated the New Wave genre.
Still listen to it now.
YouTube has some brilliant versions, completely updated, played at various Hogmanay celebrations in more recent years under Edinburgh Castle to huge crowds.
They are brilliant. He was and is an immense talented musician.
