Long-rumoured to go to WBA.

Would be surprised if we were prepared to pay a premium to outbid them, for a player untested at top level.

(A potentially very good player, tbf).

No thank you, seems a bit of a mercenary git to me.

I like to think we put some stall on the type of player we sign, hence no John Terry.

A bit like Lewis Dunk?

Spot on! Many players do it these days, unfortunately it's a bit of a sad indictment of modern football given how much they are paid, but no reason whatsoever to lose interest.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Gomez
Taylor
Suttner

I'd take any of these 3 to play at left back for us.

Gomez being my choice, he is very versatile.

When the reason for refusing to play was a disagreement with Cellino I think he could be forgiven.

Agree on Gomez but I would prefer a permanent signing. Leeds are a bizarre club so there might have been a reason for his refusal maybe they promised him, Leeds would be Champions of Europe!

You'd prefer a young guy who has only played 10 games for Liverpool, who is a naturally right footed CB, over a guy who is a natural left back and who has played the amount of games for Leeds that Taylor has?

Gomez looks like an excellent prospect, but he'd be brought in to do what Tomori did last year which is as a filler when and where needed, rather than as a first choice left back.
