He's been busy with a new Twitter account today, a few people have been educated for posting pictures of the red East Sussex flag.

What an incredible day! Happy Sussex Day everyone!
I've found, captured and been sent a ton of Sussex Flag photos today! Flags were flown from Billingshurst to Bexhill, Australia to Ireland and a monumental surprise; a humongous county flag flying on the large flagpole by Eastbourne bandstand. Must be at least 30ft long. An emotional sight to behold!
What a proud county we are!

I reckon I've spent about 35 years here, so, whilst that no doubt makes me an outsider to some of you, I feel like I'm starting to blend in.

Yes, I started this thread.
I was born in Surrey, spent my first six weeks in Hampshire and was then palmed off to Sussex. Various social services argued over which county authority had responsibility for me. Thankfully Sussex lost. Still here and proud of my county all these years later (If not the halls of authority in the late 60s).

I celebrate the Saints Day of the Wheelbarrow Man on the 8th February. .
