I'm told that we are/were interested in Neal Maupay of St Etienne, a 20-year-old attacking midfielder/winger. Apparently Brentford have agreed a E2m fee but maybe Oscar would give us a discount. He was on loan in Ligue 2 last season so maybe development squad rather than Premier League.

I am trying to remain patient

We've been asked to remain patient... Fair enough... However we've waited 30+ years to get into PL and now we seem to be trailing behind everyone...I appreciate the costs etc, however Huddersfield, Newcastle, Swansea, Watford etc are all getting active whilst we appear to be haggling over low budget deals....( and struggling).....

In reality the window closes at end of August, but I'm sure we must have planned to be far closer to sorting out the team than we are currently

Well, we would have broken our transfer record for Neto ...

Who according to AN had historic injury issues which we seemed to miss. Delaney was never going to happen as he has only just signed a new contract. They need to be more realistic with their target's.

I agree , too many clowns employed to deal with our transfers .,

What we need is a man ( or woman ) on one phone shouting "BUY BUY BUY"

And another man ( or woman ) on another phone shouting "SELL SELL SELL"

It ain't rocket science ???
