How does this work in the Prem? Is there the same 5 week commitment they have in the FL? I did look around the Sky website but couldn't find anything.

10 July for the first games up until the end of September. There was something on the club twitter about earlier with more dates though.

Why do they wait until 11th August to announce the October and November picks? The season won't have started by then so they'll be basing their decisions on exactly the same information available to them in July.

Good point.

The only difference will be new arrivals in terms of managers and big name players, which might make for a narrative?

My prediction for August/September is that Manchester City (h) will be on Super Sunday and Bournemouth (a) will be on either Friday or Monday night. They'll see that as a chance to show two of the lesser clubs and tick some boxes with the narrative of it being a south coast derby, even though neither club cares about the other. I don't think any of our other fixtures will appeal to Sky/BT.

I do hope you're right about Man C I come home from Cyprus on Saturday night.

I read somewhere but can't remember where, that the newly promoted clubs have to be shown on SKY 3 times in the first 2 months.

Can sky have the game played on the Friday 11th. I thought not and have arranged my holiday to arrive back late that night. Now I've read that they can. Anyone clarify this please.

I reckon there is a good chance that the palace away game will be moved for TV. Nailed on spurs v city will be on and I suspect Newcastle v arsenal. Hopefully it will be a) not on tv at 15:00, if I can get a ticket, b) on tv 17:30 Saturday or c) 14:00 on Super Sunday!

14/04/2018 15:00 Burnley v Leicester City

14/04/2018 15:00 Crystal Palace v Brighton and Hove Albion

14/04/2018 15:00 Huddersfield Town v Watford

14/04/2018 15:00 Liverpool v Bournemouth

14/04/2018 15:00 Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion

14/04/2018 15:00 Newcastle United v Arsenal

14/04/2018 15:00 Southampton v Chelsea

14/04/2018 15:00 Swansea City v Everton

14/04/2018 15:00 Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City

14/04/2018 15:00 West Ham United v Stoke City

The Man City game could be at:

Lunchtime Saturday
3pm Saturday
Tea time Saturday
Sunday Lunchtime
Sunday 1600
Monday Night

Any slot I've missed or any that don't take place the first weekend?

I reckon it'll be the Saturday lunchtime game.

I think we can safely assume the first game will not kick off at 3PM on Saturday. We just don't know when it will be played.

So annoying - especially in the middle of summer hols.

I really hope you're right about the Man City game, as I stupidly committed myself on the Saturday some time ago without checking when the football season starts. Any day but Saturday is good for me.
