Why 6ft 2?...if he was 5ft 10,leaps like a Salmon, safe hands, good distribution and good with his feet...who cares how tall he is?

Rumours are that he wants out as he can't get a game at Valencia. Might reduce the fee if he has asked to leave.

Shay Given is only one inch taller!! Paul Cooper, 5' 11", Shilton 6', There's probably loads more.

Ryan is 6ft 1/2inch.

David Ospina, Tom Heaton, Julian Spreroni, Steve Mandanda, Kasper Schmeichel, Claudio Bravo, Willy Caballero and Michel Vorm are all between 6ft and 6ft 1 so while Ryan isn't the tallest keeper out there i don't think it's much to be concerned about.

Postecoglou, who unveiled the formation during the Socceroos two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March where Australia earned four points, last week hinted that he would stick to the 3-4-3 which requires extreme discipline from the three stoppers, wing backs and the goalkeeper.

Wrong.
The most important asset for a keeper is agility. How quick your feet are and how much spring you have in your legs. Our game is full of 6' 6" giants who can barely get off the ground. Just from these few snippets you can tell that Ryan is a quicker mover than DS.
