Out of curiosity. Is a case 6 or 12 bottles now? I used to work in the stock control department for Tesco a very long time ago. 6 used to be for expensive wines, 12 for the cheaper.

I saw an offer in Henley of all places on Monday - 2 (two!) bottles of Rose for a fiver (!!!) in a convenience store. That's going to permanently blister your esophagus isn't it? Five quid. In a town where the average spend is probably tenfold per bottle!

It's made from grapes, and is more versatile (and, generally, alcoholic) than beer. I can highly recommend it.
