Not sure if it's still run by the Lions but, for what it's worth, I'm not going either. OK, most of it is for charity but there's a lot of toot there and a bl**dy funfair that only benefits the council who presumably rent our park out to them.
In recent years, it's been completely cancelled on the day due to torrential rain, on at least one occasion.
We went down there earlier and were pleased to see that it was busy. Hopefully proper rain holds offs, allowing the charities and stall holders make a worthwhile return.
