Think we may be very lucky looking at the forcast. Not too much to ask it to rain all summer where Sussex cricket is concerned........

Not really a follower of County Cricket, but I'm chuffed from afar when SCCC have a great team that wins silverware (the Adams & Goodwin era being the best).
A question to supporters - if SCCC have for example three shite seasons in a row in all forms of the game, do fans start opening questioning some players and/or the club management?
For example the defeatist also-rans tag, was successfully challenged in the famous 1996/97 coup, showing that Sussex fans want the county to really compete.

Need to see a bit of the DUNKERQUE SPIRIT from Sussex tomorrow
It wasn't so much the lack of success (after all, Sussex were much, much worse in the 70s) but the fact that so many players were leaving/being driven out of the club. That winter had seen six capped players leave Sussex and it was a step too far for the members.
It was an exhilarating evening though: I still remember the simmering anger and the dawning realisation of what we'd done.
