firstly, could be case that other papers arent following up because theres not much to the story and its one journalists crusade. happens all the time to various papers and writers. secondly the "2015 Election expenses scandal" got put to bed last week: CPS dropped any prosecutions, after the Electroal Commission reported nothing really to prosecute. why is there an obsession to find a reason for the election, when the stated reasons are prefectly valid: to get a larger majority and to have a manifesto mandate that prevents Lords voting against Brexit?
