Any NSC Trump fans still on board? Anyone think he's handled this current situation well?

I wouldn't know where to begin unpacking all that. What racism, what mysogyny, what significant lies, what corruption, what documentation , what public records. 3 years and I haven't seen anything credable. i have seen a tape of Biden calling black kids Roaches. He is slightly over 50% in the polls, dont you think you are missing something? Why do you prioritise racism and misogyny accusations over corruption? No dont bother answering i'd probably spend over half a day re-educating you from scratch, treat the points as retorical.

And those who were seen dancing were thought insane by those who could not hear the music. FW Nietszche.
Yay! Bingo!

Pence scares me. He reminds me of Martin Sheen in The Dead Zone. He's the only reason for wanting Trump to survive.

Despite what has been said on here, I'm English but I DO have a pretty good grasp of what's going on over there.
(Although I do have to own the fact my touchstones are predominately the 'Liberal Elite').

From day 1 I've said Pence is the man to be scared of, to the point that had a fair few other posters scurrying off to do some half arsed internet research, before returning and saying, 'yes I now retract my Pence seems ok' statements.

The man isn't doing what he wants, not what he believes in, he's not working for the money, his legacy, or his golf resorts, he's here to do what God telling him to do.

For that reason I hope Trump remains health for the length of his Presidency.

He’s mainly a racist capitalist. And it’s not hilarious. He’s an inept, demented, disinterested, narcissistic, ignorant, sociopathic imbecile dealing with massive father/son issues. He openly admires plutocrats and money. What’s not right-wing about that?

It’s interesting that in a country purporting freedom that liberal has become a point of reference for those who want to look after people as a matter of course. Not because they have health insurance. I work in insurance and the US court system is utterly screwed. I work a lot in US law and have lived there. Ironically a system folk thought would protect them has meant huge compound interest on health insurance premiums due to a total lack of regulation. The same lack of regulation brought down the banks in 2007/8. This was under Alan Greenspan. Google it.

Your version of reality is based on propaganda spurned as “news.” Forgive my ignorance but are you from either the Deep South (the name) or you’ve been tasked with this job by Putin? I know it says you live in Australia but your bullshit on this thread demonstrates a commitment to other ideologies.

Hey, come on now, TB has played basketball in America you know! He's very well informed. I think a black boy might have made fun of his mullet, and the result is this.

Taking a step back, for a second.

When Donny took office, it struck me that it might not be such a bad thing to have a non Political loose cannon in The White House.

History will tell us since WWII, we've been pretty centrist.
Although they didn't feel it at the time, but the peaks weren't too high and the troughs weren't too low, which I think in turn led to some serious stagnation on the geopolitical front.

Having someone prepared to poke the (panda) bear, call out North Korea and Iran with the actual threat of 'you have no idea what I going to do next', could have worked.
It could have worked for the oppressed masses.
Wealth distribution.
The environment.
etc etc etc

It's just such a shame it all fell into this fookin idiots lap, or to be more precise Putin's lap.

How are those election promises working out...?

Hilary is in Jail.

The wall has been built and paid for by Mexico.

Obamacare has been taken down and replaced.

All illegal immigrants removed.

You know what, you are 100% bang on.

Continue.

I said for many years "Show me the politician least like a politician and I will vote for them".

My feel was, as you suggest here, politics was stagnant and politicians of all sides were complacent and needed a massive kick up the arse.

You are right it is a huge pity.

I haven't said it since Trump.

That's easily answered.

Trump isn't right wing. He has no true political philosophies. That's the biggest joke, he ended up in politics. Why? Because Clinton was so corrupt and untrustworthy a caricature like Trump seemed more palatable.

To equate plutocracy to the right when the left is flushed with it's own billionaires is disingenuous.

It’s interesting that in a country purporting freedom that liberal has become a point of reference for those who want to look after people as a matter of course. So you agree with me then that it's all one big orchestrated scam then to put more money into the pockets of the money people that benefit the Democrats and Republican parties equally.

Why do you think so many people still don't trust the US Government and hold the constitution so high in regards to how they think?

Your version of reality is based on propaganda spurned as “news.” Forgive my ignorance but are you from either the Deep South (the name) or you’ve been tasked with this job by Putin? The name is a Dave Chappelle character. Not that up on US comedy I guess.

My version of reality is from people who see the collusion between both parties to prop up the billionaires clubs. Is your version of reality different?

My commitment is to smaller Governments and less Government intervention anywhere. Let's just say I can relate a lot to someone like Jesse Ventura, a man of good principles who can see and call out the corrupt bullshit going on.

Who would you rather listen to for truth, Ventura or CNN/Fox?

Anyone who spouts garbage like the Democrats are the good guys is the true garbage propaganda pushers. They are all in bed together and yet we have idiots trying to pretend otherwise.

Nope, he should have shut their borders immediately to international traffic.

As every nation should have.

If this virus has shown anything it's how pathetic the World Health Organisation is.

Utter disgrace of an organisation that is corrupt to the core.

So you can't have voted for anyone in years in Australian politics then?

Nobody in Labor, Greens or Liberals fits your bill of not being like a politician.
They are all self serving and want to dictate to people how they should think and live.

Did you find a minority party to support?

I always vote TB. However I am yet to find a politician or party to really get behind.

Usually the best of a bad lot for me I am afraid.

I sometimes wish I had your devotion but I haven't found anyone that I think deserves it as yet.

See I can't go with that "best of a bad lot". I haven't voted for a party in many an election.
Last election the choices were Labor, Liberal, Greens and Socialist Party.
I'm not voting for any of them simply based on "best of a bad lot".

I live in the Corio seat, 40 years it's been a Labor safe seat Federally and State. So Labor don't even have to work for the vote in that seat, it's just gifted by partisan idiots.

Yet somehow it contains the most disadvantaged suburbs in the district despite Labor supposedly being the working peoples party.

My question is how do these people keep voting for the same party that keeps leading to the same outcome.

That I can be fined for not voting is the biggest disgrace. Forcing people to vote for people and parties who don't deserve it is the biggest insult.

When you say you haven't voted for a party, have you found any impressive individuals to vote for? I think I found one reasonably impressive last time.

I think that everyone keeps voting for the same partie expecting the same outcome. The difference between the two main parties is not that stark. Neither are interested in solving the problems in said disadvantaged suburbs. That would take a massive change in political thinking. No-one votes for such a huge change and no-one expects said change. If that is what you are looking for then I am not surprised you haven't voted for so long.

To me though the best of a bad lot is better than the worst of a bad lot. I enjoy my tiny protest in putting smaller parties first and dream that one day other people will join me in trying something different. But as you say we always know how it will end up.

I agree with your last comment. I think that fining people for not voting is highly undemocratic.

That's one thing I'd love to see in the US is a more diverse political system. Like we have here, where at least micro parties can exist.

In California you'd have progressive parties winning seats and in other states the Libertarian Party would do well.

Two sets of groups that would be more beneficial to keeping the likes of Democrats and Republicans in check.

Look at how the progressives end up in the Democrats, they have all folded up quickly into being good like corporate Democrats these days.

The only politician who actually stood up to this recent corporate bail out in the guise of a financial stimulus was a Libertarian in the Republican Party.

If there were more parties then there would be more voices being heard.
