Without them in the UK we would not have had the Leave result from the referendum. Trump would also not have become President without them in the US.

Hmm, lot’s of parts of London are a shithole and they voted Remain, so that torpedoes your pompous post. You’re trying to make out lots of thick people voted leave. I’d say lots of thick people voted Remain as they didn’t have the intelligence to see through project fear.

Quick reply as I'm straying off topic. Croydon Central just Leave and all Wards with big housing estates around Croydon such as New Addington smashed it to Leave. Turnout higher than previous General Election. Shithole.
No further research but would be surprised if any zone 1 or 2 voted Leave .

I don't think this is related to education but rather those parts of society that have had declining incomes since the banking crisis in 2008. These people who are struggling to maintain their standards of living have accepted the narrative peddled by parts of the media and by certain political parties that their financial hardship is being caused by foreigners/ the EU/ immigrants.

When you look back through history it is very common trend to see a rise in nationalism following periods of depression/ recession. The same thing is happening in the US which is why Trumps America first policy is so appealing to large portions of the population.

A new name for the President should be Teflon Trump.He can do anything but he will survive.The shock value is getting less with the things he does because every few days there is a new scandal.Even the story about him and the porn star has been lost whereas with any other President it would be a huge story.

O and those places are shitholes.Whats the prob?

Very clever. Well spotted. Smokescreen for a man more worried about his own reputation than the reputation of the United States of America. As you say the comments kept the news that his lawyer paid a porn star to keep quiet in 2016 from the front pages.
