Fair, very strange that this search didn't take place earlier.
The club were hoping to buy the ground and redevelop it. Plans went in not so long ago for a new 4500 stand http://www.afcb.co.uk/news/article/south-stand-afc-bournemouth-stadium-expansion-plans-3012635.aspx
However negotiations with the lease holders over a buy back went to rats so they decided to move elsewhere.

Didn't the owner of Bournemouth just pay the £7 million fine for breaching FFP rules, without questioning it. Perhaps of he has that sort of money spare he feels it give Bournmouth a chance of staying up (or should I say an extra 15 goals gets them into Europe even) Defoe scored 15 goals for a really bad Sunderland side. He keeps himself very healthy, even keeping to a Vegan diet to prolong his carear.
