But do you not think the uber rich couldn't afford to contribute more than they do?

This government seem hell bent on reducing the burden on the rich but are quite happy to pass that burden onto the poorer sections.

Not according to the students model of 90% tax or when she said 100% was getting near her preferred socialist model.........that is clearly mental and i take it you didnt listen to the whole video

Sorry mate, I don't read all the links people post on NSC. I was just having a chat. No need to be so defensive.
I wonder if the move to compulsory post 16 education plays a part. There are many students in sixth form education who would have left school at 16 in previous decades. There are certainly many other factors at play than the Tory cuts narrative.

I did listen to the whole video and she didn't suggest the 90% rate, the reporter did. The reporter also was the one trying to suggest they would all leave the country. We've seen similar things said here as we approach elections but I'm not sure there is any evidence to confirm that actually happens.

That said, where did I say they should contribute 90% or are you just trying to muddy the waters as you don't want to answer? All I said is that they could contribute more than they currently do. That could be raising top level of income tax, changing our low corporate tax rate (possibly have a two tiered system that protects small businesses).

The source does not make it true or false, only the content makes it true or false.

You're major flaw is you get too angry too quickly.

I wasn't commenting on the content of the piece, I was commenting on your statement highlighted in bold. You asked for more honesty, and not fake news from the left, and you did that by posting arguably one of the biggest exponents of mistruths, fake news etc. from the right, Fox News. If you cannot see the hypocrisy of that, well, you are lost in your own arguments.

Sources are not the same. It is worth discriminating against press and media you feel promote fake news, right or left, if you really feel that strongly about honesty and truth.
