When normally does the premier start?

We are just looking at booking a couple of weeks in Kefalonia or Crete for the school holidays, as the Mrs is stuck with them. So she breaks up the 28th July ish so it's how best to avoid missing too many games?

If it is the second week in august, then we may be ok with booking late July for Two weeks and only missing 1 game probably, or we will book around the 10th august which means we may miss a few games.

Anyone remember when the prem starts...I assume it's mid august!

We have bookd to fly out on the Sunday before the international break in September and back on the Friday after ie 12 days but did it based on Saturday fixtures in The Championship forgetting that the Premier often change the days of games from anytime Friday to Monday so may miss a game.:dunce: The only consolation is that if they move it to another day it will probably be because it is on sky.so all may not be lost.

Just looking to book at the moment and we will also be looking to use the international break as it is cheaper than the start of the school holidays.
