Who would have thought after all the panic a few weeks ago!

In fact a draw in one of the last three games for the Chokers and 85 would have done it.

It is funny how so many posters thought all 3 clubs would only drop a couple of points out of about the 90, or so, available.

I was saying after the QPR game when we reached 86 points that we were already promoted but we just didn't know it yet

Reading will finish 3rd on 85. We'd have smashed them on goal difference so that is this year's finish line for automatic promotion. Newcastle are already promoted (but don't know it yet).

For me it was psychological saying we needed 90+ points at the time, I'm not used to these dizzy heights with Brighton and most of my sporting life I've learnt it's not over till it's over. It's made the celebration all the sweeter and now relaxing.

Yep I said 85 would do it and maybe 83 now
