He can spend it on a big present for David Burke, the bloke inept enough to offer him such a contact.

What do you reckon?

Somewhere in the region of £70k for COG. Nice new car?

COG is worth every penny simply because that last minute chance for Burton against Huddersfield didn't fall to him, and was therefore taken. He's managed to contribute by making Burton a difficult proposition without actually bothering to trouble the scorer. He'll spend it on property. Again.

With Elvis, I'd simply chance not paying him. The chances of him actually knowing he's owed it are minuscule and, in the event his agent remembers it's due, we can simply pay him in cash whereupon he'll somehow end up on the wrong side of the pile of cash, blundering around aimlessly looking for it, while a minion surreptitiously hoovers it up, note by note, and gives it back to Tone.

A night of hookers, Jack Daniels and cocaine. It will be a hell of a lot more fun than both of their football careers combined.

Strange thread...TBH i wasnt even aware COG was still our player.

Fair play to the guys - at the end of the day they have a contract. If anyone here went to work only to be told "you might as well read a book we have no work for you, as you long you remain available" then wouldnt you too still expect your annual bonus if you were entitled to it according to the contract of employment you and your boss signed? Hardly your (or their in this case) fault that the boss didnt want to use him. Never heard anyone here say both these players are deliberately skiving or faining injury so give them the dosh and worry about something more important like Brexit - when we might all be joining the dole queues :D

Where does it say in the OP that we begrudge them? Just amusing to note that despite their lack of contribution to the squad's achievement, they are still due their share. Rohan Ince will also be collecting. And why not?

Does JFC get a proportion based on his time here?

Unlikely. His contract will have been paid up with some negotiated settlement, when he signed for Charlton.
