How do we improve our squad for PL?

A nice bit of South London
Assuming they can be retained a first choice starting eleven IMHO would include:

Stockdale

Duffy
Dunk
Rosenir
Bruno

March
Kayal Stephens
Knockers

Hemed
Murray
Baldock

Need a LB, RB, centre mid and a couple of strikers

Pacy, young strikers to lead our "on the break" tactics is the most important position to strengthen imo

I'm sure CH is going to give everyone the chance that they deserve to prove they can step up at the next level.

I estimate maybe 5-6 players actually being good enough to compete with the premier league quality.

My shopping list would be:

A new right back, permanent left back (Poco if he'd come here), centre midfielder, pacey striker

Depends which players that are out of contract get retained.

Things will be clearer at that point.

Yup,think that is a good balance between keeping the faith but getting new blood and obviously assumes Stocko stays, Would slightly qualify that CM should be an offensive foil for our four present CM, all of whom play quite deep and (from memory) have contributed only a couple of goals this season, albeit one was THE goal. Cascarino suggested a CB who is pacier than D/D but I doubt CH would target that, perhaps keeping back for Jan if viewed necessary.

I heard a rumour that Kevin Stewart, LFC player, ex spurs will be leaving in the summer. He has only played 4/5 games this season but is a class player and at 23, could be a great signing. Perhaps Chris's days at spurs might be a pull. No idea how much he would go for but with Lallana, Henderson, Can etc only just keeping him out he has great potential.

Actually a pacey CB is Tomori.

I see 4-3-3 is the preferred formation..

Mostly agree with that , although...

3. Walton needs games not sitting in the stands as number 3.

5. Would be great if they could play central defence as well.

22. I think Skalak will do better in the PL than 21 Murphy. I'd keep them both to start with and reassess in January.

I'd only let go manu, o Grady and ince and offer deals to the rest.

In place of them sign a powerful centre mid (no idea, can only see Hutchinson at sheff wed), a scoring winger/no10 (judge/cairney/ t ince) and a pacey striker (Abraham).

Would also sign poco and Timori on loan. Don't think we need much more than that for the first four months. Tight squad could be what we need.

Cairney and Ince alone would probably consume our budget. They are the best performing players of their respective clubs and will want a premium.

Both great players mind, just there is no value in the Championship.

I would also let KLL go,

I would love to have Cairney and Abraham. Not convinced about T Ince.
