Why is it good to see. Suppose you have been a life long supporter and voter for LibDems. What do you do at this election, stay at home, spoil the ballot paper, or vote for the sitting MP.
How can it be good for democracy if there is effectively a cartel in place to pre select who will win the local election.
Blimey, I imagine if he was doing loads of charlie for breakfast he was bound to say something silly

Boris said that Jeremy Corbyn was a " threat to the UK " and later said that " The UK could join the US in air strikes in Syria... but this may not necessarily be put to parliament first " So, is that democratic ? Is it not Boris who could put the UK more at risk ?
I'm genuinely concerned that democracy is in danger of being sidelined by Mr's May's " Strong and stable " mantra which seeks to insist that only she can make the right decisions on Brexit or indeed anything.
Who exactly do you think should make decisions if not the elected government ??
Well, quite a few of us voted for Brexit because we wanted British parliament to have the ultimate say. You may not believe in the supremacy of parliament but there are quite a few of us who do
If you want to see Lucas hold Brighton Pavilion it's good to see.
It's also good to see if you believe in a progressive alliance against the Tories.

Strong and stable basically means give us Tories an open cheque book to do what we like. In my book the whole Gina Miller Supreme court case exposed her for what she is, but she seems to be doing the good job convincing the masses that the Tories are the only option.
Personally I'd take another coalition of compromise with the Lib Dems, its really the only alternative out there. But I don't think it will happen, Labour have completely failed the nation to offer a proper opposition

Bombing Syria in coalition with the US was discussed in parliament before and parliament voted by a majority to reject it, so next time they won't bother asking...and you are ok with that ?
Interesting isn't it, that Johnson has been wheeled out to float this idea when he's left out of the limelight ususally. He's totally dispensible if the public disapproves and May is protected. The Tories using his character as a total buffoon to test what are very important issues.

37% on here for the Tories. Par vote for them. Similar to what they would get nationally I'd say (though it may be a bit more since UKIP is over) and under our ludicrous electoral system enough for a majority again. If Labour, Lib Dems and Greens had any sense they'd select the candidate with the best chance and stand one candidate between them in every Tory marginal. But they haven't. Political tribalism is old fashioned and Corbyn is way out of line rejecting a progressive alliance. A lot of people are taking no notice of him on that...but not enough. There should be no Labour candidate against Caroline and no Green in Kemptown. But there will be. Ludicrously biased press on one side, pathetically split opposition on the other. Bollocks.

Lucas will hold the seat, just 1 out of 650. She's now the established well known name on the ballot paper, with a sizeable support in a city which prides itself on being maverick.
Her single seat with Labour's 175, SNP's 60 and Lib Dems 30, will hold little sway. Besides, the SNP and Labour despise each other.
That's some progressive 'alliance'.

I wasn't suggesting that.
Plus the Greens not running in Kemptown should help swing towards Labour away from the tories. That's two.
