QPR v Brighton

Sky Bet Championship

Venue: Loftus Road
Date: Friday 7th April 2017
Kick-off: 19:45 BST
Referee: Simon Hooper
Assistants: Daniel Robathan, Akil Howson
Fourth official: Geoff Eltringham

QPR Midfielder Jordan Cousins will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on a thigh injury.

On-loan winger Kazenga LuaLua is close to a return from an ankle problem but is ineligible to face his parent club.

Centre-half Lewis Dunk could keep his place in the Brighton squad after recovering from illness.

Full-backs Sebastian Pocognoli and Liam Rosenior are available after injury, but striker Sam Baldock is likely to remain out with a hamstring problem.

The Seagulls would return to the top of the Championship table with victory on Friday night.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton told BBC Sussex:

"They're a good side, QPR, they're a changed team in Ian Holloway's time there.

"I think his period of time working in television gave him that nice break away from the pressures of management, and he looks like he's really enjoying it again.

"His team are playing some good football, in a way that i think Ian wants them to play."

Last losing to us in a promotion season (57/58).

I like a good omen.

Where is Baldock's hamstring?

I thought he had a minor hip injury?

3 points needed for Championship title aspirations. A draw fine for 2nd and a loss is no disaster with Wigan & Bristol City lined up at home later this month. Come on boys!!!

With our history I'm pretty sure Holloway is going to get his side very fired up for this one. I noticed he left a couple of regular starters out on Tuesday no doubt with this game in mind.

It's going to be a very tough game and I'd be happy with a draw in all honesty.

I want revenge for last season, we were all over them until Austin came on then he went away again, that match really pissed me off.
Loftus Road is always a tricky place to go to but QPR have fallen away a bit lately but they will want 3 points from this home game.
A difficult game to predict, I think we will play for a draw and hopefully grab a winning goal.
Back to being nervous, I always feel that Friday is too soon after Tuesday.

Our away form is very sketchy of late and had this down for a defeat as they're very strong at home....A win would be awesome and a defeat wouldn't be a catastrophe.

2-1 QPR

Feel quite relaxed about this one. Win would be fantastic, draw (which I'm expecting) is fine and even a loss won't be a disaster.
