Didn't Uncle Spielberg live there until a year or so ago ? Could this explain Southwick's sudden rise up the table ?

Worked there for about five years before 2000 and yes pretty normal but no more so than other coastal towns along that strip. Cricketers is an ok pub but preferred the one nearer the station the name of which I can't remember. Shopping bit is dull but serves its purpose.

The Ship - ignored smoking ban at first but must of changed that by now!

The Ship - first place my Dad took me for a pint of mild and bitter. Played darts in there for many years, and was always a 'proper' pub. I had no idea the library had gone - that is a change for the better!
