My point was the context of the game. We were losing, and looking like playing until midnight would not have changed that being so poor. Stockers deeds kept us in many games we would/should have been dead and buried in.
Just shows it's all about opinions. So long as we go up, I couldn't give a flying feck who gets PotY.

Gone for Stockdale, which is tough on Dunk. Knockaert comes in third, and Baldock fourth.

Totally agree, AK best player in the Championship on his day but goes missing in too many away games, Stockdale for his penalty saves and other vital saves.

I think it should go to the player whose presence or absence has the biggest influence on whether we win or lose.
And that is Stephens.
All the others mentioned are amazing, but no-one is more important than Stephens to the success of the team.

I would vote for either Stockdale or Dunk but it fashionable for an attacking man to get most appreciation so would expect Knockhaert and Murray to both be near the top of the poll. Who has won most MOM awards of our players?

The fact that it is so hard to choose shows how good the squad is. For me though it's AK for sheer entertainment value.

The only way I can come to a decision is by thinking of it like BBC Sports Personality of the Year. In which case Knockaert all the way.
