Surely I can't be the only one thinking that by reacting with Hudds are sh1te LOL we are absolutely asking for a bit of a cock-up of our own? Tonight is a good result for us, but only if we can take advantage.

I disagree with that. If you offered me the same number of points as Huddersfield from our games this weekend, I'd have been delighted before yesterday's game. Even if we lose today, we've had a good weekend as it's one game nearer promotion and we had a much harder game than Huddersfield.

Whilst on a good run of luck!! Are you insane?

Hopefully my bad luck will counteract your foolhardiness
Quite ☺. I had City down to beat Udders and rolling on to today, us to beat Leeds and England to beat Ireland.

Not exactly mr healthy

Both still his I believe. One is on his car down here and the other is still on his old car that I think is now being driven by a family member in Newcastle. I was told that was the case a few months ago so may be different now.

Last night was a great result for us, but today let's really hammer it home with a big 3 points for us at Dirty Leeds, Champions of Europe (TM).

I'd say it's much less important now tbh. It would be a massive win if we could get it but it's our hardest game left by far, no pressure now.

I agree, a win or draw later today would be great, but no real harm done if we don't get either, as we have maintained that six point gap, and games fast beginning to run out now.

Have been waiting for that and it is of course a fair point.

My belief that we are inherently a lot better than Hudds (evidenced by gulf in GD over 37 games), and that their performance at Bristol was lightyears worse than ours at Forest, is just opinion...

Hmmm not quite sure their performance was lightyears worse than ours at Forest. We were awful that day too.

Either way though, we have maintained that six point gap, and only eight games left to play now!

All opinion but I stand by it. Hudds lost 4-0 and were a long way second best to Bristol from first minute to last. We didn't play well at Forest but until the 89th minute were only 1-0 to an offside goal and had shown plenty of threat in their box - it was a day when the headers didn't go in and Knocky blazed over from six yards....

Hogg out for season if you believe the Huddersfield forum. Sounds serious, hopefully they can win the play offs as a present for him.

We had a party with City supporters on train back from Cardiff. We even swopped flags, they were so drunk they missed their stop
Always a great day out going to Bristol

At an outside drinking area of a pub near Cardiff Train Station after the game, I saw a mob of c. 40 year old Brizzie fans try and start on a couple of middle aged Brighton fans who had innocently walked near them. Plus the banner over the M4 slagging us off. As well as their fans challenging "queer" Brighton fans to fights after the game (documented on an old NSC thread).

Other than last night, I don't care for that club and their fans at all.

never heard about that .... guess we were lucky then and met a decent bunch. only supporters I've had trouble from were Cardiff years ago ... they would have beaten up man, woman or child .... really nasty

Just reading the manager's comments - seems like Gary Johnson (Lee's dad) had heart surgery this week, performed by the father of one of the Bristol City players.

Small world.

I would really like to see a win and clinch automatic promotion before the Villa game. I'm a bag of nerves as it is.

To be fair and balanced, a lot of Brizzle has time for us after Martin Perry tried to help with their move from Ashton Gate.

And my one and only visit to AG was a pleasant one, drinking with the homies.
