Don't care one way or the other. Ditto Northern Ireland (although if Scotland goes I don't want to be left with them in some dreadful rump UK).

I do think they ought to see wait and see what sort of Brexit deal we get before deciding what to do; currently there are too many unknowns. When we know what Brexit means to the UK then they can decide if they want to be a part of it or not.

It's not whether I want Scotland to be a part of the UK or not. It's up to them. But if I were them I'd cut loose.
Why shouldn't we get a say on whether England wants independence?
If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice......

But, I can fully understand why they are fed up being ruled by a party 400 miles away which they have historically rarely ever supported
Sounds like a great anti-Brussels rant...

It's a valid point. With regard to the UK no one ever, even informally, asks the English what we want. The assumption is we've all got the mindset of Plantagenet kings and want to keep hold of as much territory as we can. Logically IF the UK is to break up it makes sense for us to leave and the Celtic nations to stay together.

I prefer outward looking and cooperation so yes. But, I can fully understand why they are fed up being ruled by a party 400 miles away which they have historically rarely ever supported and are now being dragged out of the EU by the very same people against their will.

My message to the Scots, and my fellow Brits, is come and join us over here.
Apart from the fact that Labour have generally held sway up there... meaning they did support every Labour government....

.... and the irony of you espousing the view of not being governed by someone 400 miles away, ... well.... that's just a lovely juicy piece of HT contradiction... straight from the Fatherland's finest.

I know it's poor form to answer a question with a question, but I think this is relevant:-

You seem to have missed off the "rarely supported" bit off my post. This provides important context.
