If the Championship and Premier League tables stay the way they are now, we would be covering far fewer miles next year supporting the team, especially if Reading or Fulham were to succeed in the play offs.
9 of the games would be within 90 minutes drive or train
Apart from a two visits to the Midlands, one to South Wales and the North East, the remainging games would all be in the North West (including Stoke in this).
This term there are just 4 games within 90 minutes, still one in South Wales and the North East. We also have Bristol, Norwich and Ipswich along with 6 midland games with all the others being well uo north (Manchester distance or more).
That's a lot less petrol
