Apparently the West Indies have never successfully chased a total over 300...

England 328 all out (50 overs)

A decent total, but could have been so much more.

A couple of years back we would have been amazed that they could make that many runs.

You have to look back at that dismal World Cup to see how much they have improved.

Would have been nice to see Root push on a little more (says a man who has never passed 30 in any form of cricket )

And done & dusted, while I'm always pleased when England win it is terrible for World Cricket that the Windies are so crap. :nono:

All over. England win by miles.

A far cry from England's tours to the WIndies in the 80's!

I'll take your recommendation, the book will be here on the 14th.

:)

edit: I listened to that series on TMS, late into the nights with radio reception fading in and out. Parts of it still vivid in my memory: Tony Cozier "...he's up and he bowls, he bowls to Larkins, pushed away on the back foot to cover. The score remains on 88 for 3, and that's the latest from Sabina Park....."
