Gods country fortnightly
This will be the 20th time we're played Toon

8 wins
8 defeats
3 draws

The August win was their first win against us since 1990

I remember back in March 92, Keegan had just taken over and they were full of optimism until Mark Gall scored this stunner in his PJ's!!

Two bad weather memories at Newcastle
FA Cup 2-0 win in 86 when it was snowy in the Toon but comparatively mild in the rest of the country.
Then the 0-0 Digweed blinder in 91 when it was torrential rain that night - with no roof.

That Orlandi goal in the second Amex cup game is one of my favourite of the Amex era. I've never seen a goal quite like it in execution anywhere

Totally that. He knew exactly what he was doing with the outside of his boot. Loved him and his haircut

They used to say that Hughie Gallagher was good. Ben's Greatgrandad would know bout tat.

Rain came as forecast. It is meant to be dry for the game. No fog.
