Spoken like a true Scotsman.
It happens all the time, at all levels.....the only difference being due to the italians unorthodox tactics, the cameras have made a big deal of England asking for clarification.
But don't let that stop you

England players caught on camera asking the referee what the rules are. Don't get much more embarrassing that that :lolol:

I'll tell you something for nothing, if we play like this in a fortnights time the Jockos will be coming away from Twickers with their first win since 1983.

It is in the laws. The England players and crowd clearly didn't know. If it catches on it won't be long before removed but England have to work out the solution.

I was there and the crowd certainly knew what was going on. Disapproval of the tactics and not knowing the laws are two different things.

Didn't watch the game but sounds like the whole furore is something over nothing. If you don't commit to rucks then you give up 5 easy yards after every tackle with a run straight over where the ruck should be. Sounds like second half England worked this out and ended up battering them.

Jack Nowell has to start against the Scots, the boy has more about him than Johnny May.
