I also LOVED the bit on the highlights when they showed AK celebrating in front of the fans and there were a couple of really little kids all wrapped up in Albion hats and scarves, jumping up and down going bonkers. I love this club.

 Never seen any other teams celebrate whilst young fans also celebrate.

That's why i love nsc

A special moment to share & enjoy about our club, enthusing and delighting one of us and your natural response is sarcasm.

I can't imagine many on NSC love you, you tired, sad old f art.

Dear David,

How do you get your goal kicks to go so far and land so accurately?

Please can you give me some tips? Mine keep going out of play.

Signed

Ali Al-Habsi, age 35

LOL- almost as funny as the quote on the Reading forum saying that Al-Habsi would be only one of two Reading players that would get in our starting line up..........

Er, some of it. What I assume was the lad's dad was going mental in the North concourse (NW corner) after the game had finished, basically fighting with stewards (only guessing but maybe annoyed his lad was being ejected). Appeared to have lost it completely - he was trying to throw punches etc. Steward eventually ended up pinning him to the floor before the police came and it all calmed down. The lad meanwhile was watching all this, bawling his eyes out and being comforted by someone else.

Really? the fan who I saw get nicked was early 20s.

How odd, I believe he only managed one appearence for us when all we had as an alternative was a teenager who'd never played a first team game. who on earth was the other player?

Stockers was wandering back towards the tunnel, most fans had left or were just filing out, when a fan came out of the north-west and went (just) on the pitch to congratulate him. It was all very low key, but I noticed a steward tracked him and promptly nicked him, aided by another steward. Given what happened at Lincoln, that could be a very costly error by the fan.

Anyone know who it was and what the outcome was?

PG

What's going to happen If we get promoted and pour on to the pitch? Will they ban us all?

He is an absolute gent. I had the pleasure of serving him in the pub a few weeks back.

Guess so....automatic for the lad for going over the wall presumably, his old man (if that's who it was) might be in a bit more trouble.
Guessing the lad had no idea of the implications as he was grinning, presumably at the notoriety, as he was escorted past me:facepalm:

i saw this as I was walking down the stairs. I thought it was lovely. I wanted to let everyone know and took to twitter and spread the word as soon as I got home last night. lucky enough stockdale retweeted it too.

Talking of nice touches, it was a pleasure to see Knocky remind the Reading supporters of the score when he was close to them and they were giving him some abuse !
