Believe me, try it with a massive knob of salted butter and a generous sprinkle of castor sugar. Nectar.

:-([/QUOTE]

Needs a good sprinkling of Nutmeg too.

How can you have a poll inspired by Cressida Dick and not actually include her in the options?

How can it be that she never married Ed Balls?

Actually, don't answer that, for the sake of her dignity.

Would have gone for Dick Knight, but saw Spotted Dick and had to vote for the King of Puddings.

This is to my mind a Sussex dish that should be on every pub menu. In fact, it should be a Sussex law! Suet and Sussex go together like Honey Badger and Mouse.

Oh, and the pudding should be accompanied by butter and sugar, not custard, and definitely not ice cream.

I'll allow you a no custard rule but there needs to be a bit of lube in there to stop the chuffiness of the suet so it's either cream or ice cream for me.

Well, according to the toilets in Victoria Station... no, I've said too much.

Come to think of it, it would be better still if she'd married the erstwhile Technical Director at the Williams Formula 1 team, Sir Patrick Head.

I know. It's not big, it's not clever, and nobody's laughing, right?

The '60's - so much fine music and timeless classics ....and this. Brought to you by the hard rockin' Des O'Connor...
