Um, I'm no big pianist (tho others on here might well suggest otherwise) but doesn't it actually say "E. Krauss [of] Stuttgart"?

Google may well be your friend here.

"E. Krauss made pianos from 1870 to 1930"

Sorry to tell you but i had very nice piano similar to yours. Started of trying to sell it and in the end had a job to give it away

How much you looking for?

As someone has said above, will be difficult to shift I suspect.

When we moved we had a decent-ish piano that we decided we didn't want any more.

As above - it was a struggle to give it away, but we got there in the end.

That would be too many notes for me.

Yeah, the KEY to the post was that it's free.
The OP is selling it for a friend.

There's a classified section on NSC.

The thing with most pianos is that, like cars, the older they are the less they're worth. Of course there are always exceptions but unless you're very lucky (and I'm no expert), you'll do well to sell it. A few years ago I inherited a piano that was better (newer) than my current one, which dated from about 1900. As I couldn't keep both I decided to get rid of my beloved old one. I tried to sell it, then I tried to give it away, and eventually I ended up paying someone to take it away. No one wanted to know.

Good luck anyway!

Wish I could play but the only noise I'd make on it is a racket !
Try eBay - I managed to sell a couple of greenhouses on there with the strict proviso that I gave no help and that they had to come and take them down. Or you could perhaps try care homes - sometimes old folks like to gather round the old joanna. It seems a pity just to throw it away
