Played seven years for the seagulls, then seven years for Wycombe Wanderers. Then went on to play for Ebbsfleet for eight years. Suspect he could have left us for something better earlier but was the kind of player that stayed with a club until he was no longer wanted. A decent loyal guy.

Genuinely shocked and saddened as I too had the pleasure of sharing a beer or two wth him back in the day. Makes me realise my own mortality when I consider that he was 5 years younger than me. RIP Paul.

This is just so so sad. I remember him well from his Albion days and he always gave everything to the cause. He will be sorely missed. RIP Macca.
