This has been worthwhile for me as well. Since Jan I've made another 1.7k mostly from Cheltenham week making around 5k. I don't do it as much as I should due to time restrictions, but even with 2/3 hours a week you can do nicely from this

Here's a copy and paste from one of the Profit Squad community members who I've known from the site for the last 6 months or so. She knew nothing about sport nor gambling before she started this:

So I have made it to my 1 year profit squad anniversary! What a year. I certainly didn’t expect it to be this good. I thought sharing my figures and experience may help motivate people, particularly those just starting out like I was this time last year. When I started I needed a lot of motivation and confidence as I felt out of my depth and doubted myself frequently. Profit squad has helped me every step of the way.

I have made just over £35,000 to date. Initially it was new customer offers and ongoing reloads etc but it progressed onto more advantaged strategies such as dutching and advanced casino offers. I have had a few bumps in the road, sometimes through silly errors or rushing in and other times through a streak of losses, but those times have been brief and always taught me something . Every month I keep a tab of profits AND losses. It keeps me grounded and focused. I learn by my mistakes and get encouraged by great results, so profit squad as a community as well as a go to for training has been brilliant.

Casino offers and dutching have brought in my biggest wins, with the smaller but more consistent payouts from regular sports offers topping the total up. The key to all of this is to stick with it because it can and will make you money. I still have things to learn and I know there is a lot more money to be made!

I raise an eyebrow at the £35k in 1 year figure.

I signed up end of last year and have made just over £2000 profit. This is mainly from slots. Only dabble in it now when I can but it is easy money.

How much start up revenue do you need to make it worth while?

Not a lot. If you follow the videos it helps you build a pot. I started with around £200 that I had spare. The sign up offers that the videos talk you through are worth the £1 trial offer and you can easily make money across the sports, casino and bingo offers (bingo offers has changed overtime) though that period. I decided to stay signed up after this and pay £15 a month mainly so I have people to discuss certain offers with and things like dutching and racing refunds as some people on there are very good at it and offer guidance as you go.

I don't doubt it for one second. I made c£4,500 in March but that included a few gambling losses (I don't keep very granular records). My matched betting profit in isolation was more in the £5,000 ballpark.

How much start up revenue do you need to make it worth while?

Not a huge amount.

If you are able to set aside a lump of cash as working capital of sorts it can help speed things up as you work through the various new customer offers without having to wait for money to be moved from bookmaker A, into your bank account and then onto bookmaker B.

If you can't then you just have to wait a few days between each offer as you move the money around.

Remember that your money is not at risk as you are never outright gambling it, so at any point you can withdraw it all back to your bank account.

I already have accounts with most of the big bookies already, is there any point of me trying this or is it going to be impossible for me?

The New Customer Offers serve two purposes:

1. Get you used to the back/lay process.
2. Get you accounts with bookies for their regular existing customer offers.
3. Enable you to build up some profits to use for future offers.

In cash-earning terms what you'll earn from new customer offers is the tip of the iceberg so you won't be missing much potential at all.

Oh, and there's a LOT of bookies. I'd be amazed if there aren't at least 10 or 15 that will be new to you.

Matched Betting isn't gambling in the conventional sense. At any one time you're only risking a pound or two because the process involves simultaneously backing and laying the same outcome in order to attempt to earn a free bet which can be readily converted into cash.

Sorry, I don't get it.
If a free bet is turned into cash, who is paying for it?

Say the offer tonight is bet £25 on Newcastle and get a free £5 bet for every goal they score.

You bet £25 with the bookie and lay this with betfair and you will make a loss of between £1 & £2 (Profit squad have an online calculator to work this out)

If Newcastle don't score you will lose that £1 to £2.
If Newcastle score three you will get a free bet of £15

You then place this free bet on a different event and use the online calculator (provided by Profit Squad) which will give you how much to then lay against this second bet and make a guaranteed 70%-80% of that free bet as profit

Thanks and am really not trying to be difficult.

OK, so who is paying for your profit?

If it's a bookie, someone is losing to pay for it.

If your free bet wins your balance with the bookie increases so they give you money
If your free bet loses whoever bet on the game which you matched your betfair bet with loses

Here is what I did this evening, each week Betway gives 2 £5 free bets if you do a £25 accumulator of 3 or more games. There is an accumulator spreadhseet on Profit Squad which I used and you will generally make a loss of around £2 doing this. However, I actually made a 76p profit on it this time.

I got one free bet on Saturday and the second today.

I placed my £5 bet on a horse this evening with Betway at 7.0
I layed with Smarkets (same as Betfair but only 2% commission) at 7.4

The calculator told me I needed to place a lay bet of £4.07 to guarantee making a profit of £3.98.

The horse lost so I lost nothing with Betway - it was a free bet and won £3.98 with Smarkets
Had the horse won I would have made £30 with Betway and lost £26.02 with Smarkets = £3.98 profit

I know £3.98 isn't much but for just that offer 10 minutes max work a week I can make around £8 so that's £48 an hour

I think we have to give up on this.

Thanks for trying but ,as far as I see, for you to make a profit, someone has to lose. Regardless of how it is worked out.
If it is the bookies, who do you think pays for their losses?
They are not in business for all the profit squad customers benefit.

I guess your point here is that the bookies are really a middle man. They collect money in from lots of people and pay most of it back out, keeping their bit in the middle. Some people win, some lose. The winners are taking the money of the losers. Yes, I guess that is right. If you have a problem morally with that, then maybe it's not for you. But the bookies will be carrying on doing what they are doing whether I play the system to beat them or not.

At the end of the day its normal punters who make the losses

I don't have a problem with it at all. (Apart from understanding why everyone doesn't do it! But then it wouldn't work............................ would it?)

I don't want to get into a big discussion so will give up now. Thanks for the explanation though.

Everywhere
For every person who match bets there are 1000's who just punt. When match betting your bets will look like like a normal punter. All we as match bettors are doing is exploiting offers that they offer to normal punters.
