Well you clearly didn't read it then. I even bolded and underlined for emphasis.

the source PDF is a situation report. in it the "opposition" is those groups opposed to Assad, but not ISIL which are specifically named (along with Al-Quadi in Iraq). the west was assisting the "opposition" groups is well known. the last paragraph of the quote is steering the reader to assume that the document is evidence that US directly assisting the ISIL group knowingly. last paragraph of the source would suggest otherwise "ISI could declare an Islamic State... which will create a grave danger in regards to unifying Iraq and the protection of its borders". hardly language supportive of ISIL.

The full audio can be listened to here:

hardly stands up to the claim "confirms US used ISIL to remove Syria's Assad" does it. it merely confirms the US stood by and watched, which is evident for all to see from inaction ever since the "red line" debacle. if ever there was a President that didnt want to go to war, its this one, using the minimal ordinance at disposal to throw a bone to hawks while sitting on his hands. which, going back to the OP's youtube, drives a massive hole through the conspiracy as they have clearly not used Syria to start a new conflict and send in the troops.

(separate but related thing i saw recently noted that under Obama US military spending have been cut .5% of GDP which is a massive amount, and a great deal of capability has been mothballed. inconsistent with many portrayals of Obama's foreign policy.)

The great thing about conspiracy theories like the OP is suggesting is that you don't need any evidence. Just a nudge and a wink after the outrageous suggestion and sit back, let the bickering begin!

Anyway, saw Adolf Hitler alive and well in Nando's the other day. Having lunch with Elvis...

Unsure is this article has been posted yet, I know it's been referenced here in the past. It's from a few years back and in The Atlantic, very good backstory to ISIS.

Yep, the video wasn't supposed to back up the claim that Mossad and the CIA created ISIS. They are a byproduct of the Iraq war and forty years of bad foreign policy that started with supporting the Mujahidin against the old Soviet Union.

Although Obama didn't want to go to war, the rhetoric, supplying of arms and the training of people who changed sides on a daily basis was irresponsible, and as bad as going to war without putting boots on the ground. Unfortunately Obama walked into a government that was in the process of getting rid of Gaddafi and on a promise to the Sunni states to give them Syria as compensation for the mess we made of Iraq.

Kofi Annan actually said the “Assad must go” rhetoric from Obama made it impossible for peace talks to take place. It’s amazing how dangerous words are.
