So Jack Harper, a young player who came with some excitement has left for Malaga.

Annoyed his gone or happy he gets another chance?

It clearly wasn't going to come to anything for him here, so good luck to him - he was born in Malaga so that may also have been a factor.

That can't be true. Dave in Prague insisted he was bought for the first team

I was wondering what happened to him yesterday when he wasn't in the U23 squad

What about Hambo is he still around?

Shame about Harper as i really hoped he would challenge

He was. He was put into the Development Squad with the challenge to push for first team contention. As you'll see from the club statement, it seems to be because he failed to do that that he has now moved on.

Yes. In the Argus on December 27 Simon Rusk said:-

Unfortunately he has had a few setbacks with his knee injury. I am not fully up to speed with what is going on with this part of his rehabilitation but obviously it is a really frustrating one for the boy. .. He played a couple of friendlies this season and just wasn't just quite right.

Malaga are a decent club. Hopefully there's a decent sell on clause included in the deal, as his style of play maybe more suited to La Liga.

Shit player in my eyes. Very disappointed by him from what i have seen. There's nothing to suggest he will go onto better things either

20 years old and still no first team appearances. Needs games if he's going to have a career. I hope it works out for him.

Would he benefit from a slower pace? I get the impression the tempo of English football did not suit him. Abroad is probably a great move for him & Malaga. Best of the luck to him.

The real question is - who get's his Nando's seat?
