I read the same in an article that came through Twitter. Would make sense given Hughton's friendship with Mick. Having said that, Hughton has said he doesn't want Towell to go anywhere, which suggests he rates him
He maybe a good player, but if we go up this season, not sure if he will ever get a chance to show what he could do for the 1st team. Sidwell and Norwood have done well since signing this season, but I guess 1 of those would not have been here if Towell was not injured at the start of the season. That may have been the time when he was given a run in the side.
