When my Sat Nav came up with this last night whilst driving back home I was still full of seasonal cheer from your OP.

It made the journey so much more satisfying

Nope. As can be seen by the angle of the photo it was from the passenger seat by a very unhappy Mrs EP.

I did try and console her by offering to buy her a 2017 A-Z UK Atlas, indoor barbecue and box of Ferrero Rocher from WH Smith at Oxford services a few hours later, but that failed to cheer her up.

Why are women so ungrateful?

I can't remember exactly but either 1975 or 1976, I went to watch the Albion at Swindon and the match was abandoned at half time for fog.
