Will Dunk deliberately get a card at Fulham?

I might be wrong here, but if he picked up two yellows at Fulham would he not miss one game, not two?

We're 2-0 up, Dunk has been booked and there's 30 seconds to go... Tactical second yellow so he doesn't miss a league game?

Yes he would get a 1 game ban but still be on 9 and awaiting the 10th and 2 game ban as 2 in the same game do not count in the 10 match tally.

As another poster once said, Dunky CAN'T afford to gain a booking against Fulham, as that will make him suspended against Preston... their aerial ability frustrated us, and they have two giants up front in Makienok and Hugill

I'd prefer no booking and he goes as long as possible without getting what is basically inevitable.

It may work out that he would miss our 4th round cup game anyhow......

Can someone explain this in exact detail
Dunk is on how many bookings?
How many does he need for how many games out?
Do the bookings get zeroed and if so, when?
Does it include FA Cup games?
And when he gets this booking, what is the next 5 worth?

Does it include FA Cup games? The ban? Yes.
And when he gets this booking, what is the next 5 worth? After his 2 match ban he will have to play out the remaining league games wihout being booked more than 4 times or he will get a 3 match ban.

From those that went today it appears that Lewis answered the question by trying desperately for the last 10 mins to get a yellow card but not do anything that would make it a red one. Well done Lewis you have played the system and appear o have won.

90+2 He held onto the ball for a little while longer than he should've done (time wasting), so nearly right.

No he didn't try desperately for the last 10 mins. He knew what he was doing in added on time, and so did all the fans as we cheered when he go the yellow.

We don't know that he's 'won' at this stage. Only IF we don't drop points at Preston can it be even considered as a win, and even then, events during his potential 3 match ban later on, might have us re-evaluating things.
