Absolutely gutted.
Started and ended the year losing musicians I loved so much in Bowie and now George Michael.
And regardless of his issues, he was a decent chap by all accounts.
My mate was a young cop who worked Live Aid, and George Michael spent several of his hours when not on stage, making tea for all the emergency service staff.

I'd happily let the queen go if it means we can keep the princess.
Genuinely personally saddened by this one. A very talented man with many personal demons. I often 'joked' that one of the people I would aspire to be was GM, great singer, songwriter, lyricist and a very good looking man who could have had the world at his feet. I just wish that he had truly enjoyed his life more than he appeared to, RIP George.

I doubt it. Hopefully they will show respect for the singer/writer that he was but I don't see them trying to suggest he wasn't flawed.

People speculated the same thing about Prince but he died of an opiate overdose so perhaps not best to speculate especially based on an assumption about someone's sexual preference.
