Hove (actually)
Matthew Macfadyen
Keeley Hawes
Derek Thompson (Charlie from casualty)

All three hewn from the same piece of wood. Their acting skills involve inaudilble murmuring and muttering whilst shifting their weight from one foot to the other and back again.
Keeley Hawes! Good call, but I'll see your Keeley and raise you Helen Baxendale. Although tbf there's dozens of blokes that are far worse than the pair of them (many already named in this thread)

Personally think Craig is better than even Connery. He's playing a character that is supposed to kill at the drop of hat. There was clearly a direction change from the character played by Moore and Brosnan to deliberately make it more menacing and gritty. As for acting, the torture scene in Casino Royale!!!

Would people prefer Bond to be played by someone like Peter Kay!

Nicholas Lyndhurst : brilliant in Only Fools and Horses. Excruciating in other things he's been in. Sometimes a part perfectly suits you whereas others just highlight your shortcomings.

Agreed. I think after Bourne came out, the Bond franchise was forced to up its game.

Moore, Dalton and Brosnan were never believable as secret agent killing machines, they never so much as had a hair out of place. Daniel Craig was the perfect reboot (and Casino Royale remains my favourite Bond film, that was one hell of an introduction).

I'm not arguing about Craig over Connery but what's makes me laugh is how so many people say ,'Well that's how Bond should be played.... He was ruthless and even quite nasty in Flemmings books.'
Yeah right....like anyone ever read any of those books before they saw Sean Connery play the part.

Why are you being so arsey?
You enjoy sitting down doing nothing and watching films fine, but me i don't have the time or inclination to want to sit down for any length of time and want to do other things rather that look at a tv/film screen.
Films are just not an interest for me, why is that a problem to you?

On a thread called 'Bad Actors' you're obviously on a wind up but who are you. 2nd account I suspect as you've not been on my radar as a loon before.
