Pigs in blankets and sprouts with dinner
Pate, proper cheese, crackers at tea time
Mince pies, xmas pud etc.

Muller Cider to drink - I get these things that look like tea bags and you pop them into some cider on the hob.

Don't drink spirits apart from at Christmas, really. And usual stuff such as mince pies, chestnuts.

Growing up it was:

Oranges or tangerines
Turkey
Walnuts and Brazils

One of my dad's favourite lines was "I'll give you an orange for Chistmas". They were luxury items in late 50s early 60s.

Has anyone tried the cheese in blankets? Think sainsburys sells them, they smash pigs in blankets out the park!
