Not one to knock as its good the council invested in some new lights, and sure they cost a few bob, but not convinced in the design I must say.

Cheesy slogans like #believe belong on a teenage t shirt. Plus they only work walking in one direction.

Prefer the old ones - these will look dated very quickly..

Any views?

I'm not going all the way to Merseyside to see lights, I'll stick to local ones.

Perhaps the slogan could have been "Croydon, this is the proper way to light up your high street".

All I can say is "Oh dear". Young kids are going to love monochrome Christmas Lights!!!!

So what do they look like ? everywhere iv'e ever lived the bloke next door at Xmas seems to go out of their way to make me feel inadequate .

Having now seen some more pics I have to say they look quite good. Had only seen spelling out words previously.
