A mere trifle at only 800,000 scovilles, I have a bottle of the Pepper Palaces 'The Hottest Sauce in the Universe' , 3.5 million Scovilles, and there are some that go up to 4 mil+

Curiously you used to be able to buy Dave's Gourmet Insanity Sauce from ASDA. I tried some just to spice up chili or even just baked beans. In truth it was mental hot and you only needed to add a tiny amount or you risked rendering the meal almost inedible. The essential issue is that too many hot sauces focus too much on the heat and forget about the flavour.
