As is Concord Rangers, also on Canvey Island.
That was Notts County. I was warned before I went that it was the coldest ground in England, and so I wore an extra jumper - and I was still frozen. I have never been at such a cold football match. And it was around Easter - so out of the worst of the winter.
Penydarren Park - it's a steep schlep to the top.
