Are we cheats?

You revere him, I prefer not too.

I find it plainly obvious that we have losses up to this financial year of £20 million, this year will be accounted for next season. I foresee and could be blindingly obviously wrong, that our losses will be bigger in 2017. That means we will be overspending, we will be over FFP rules. I hope to God we make the promised land, I really do, because clubs like Bournemouth are now laughing in the face of FFP. I have no problem with us breaking the rules to do the same.

I don't enjoy condescending twats like El Pres, almost sounds like Donald Trump now. If you want to say something don't call people f**kwits to get your point across. You really are the bigger idiot.

I have only tried to do the devils advocate on others reply's and apologise if I sound disingenuous or stupid.

What would you prefer to f***wit ?

Just so I can get this straight again. I have been playing devils advocate with a little opinion. There has been at least two people that have felt the need to call me names. One being a moderator. Going back to my original post, I shall tender the same question.

If/When we go up, have we cheated FFP, because I do believe we will have.
If/When we do go up and we have cheated FFP will we care? (I won't)
If/When we do or don't go up, will we stop calling other clubs cheats?

I thought the rolling 3 year losses of £39m can include 15/16 accounts although, as you say, the new FFP regime commences from 16/17.
Perhaps someone on the thread can clarify?

2015/16 is a one off set of rules just for that season.

The rolling period commences 2016/17.

So we spend 20 mill in our 2016/17 season. That leaves us 19 mill for our next two. Am I being stupid or are we overspending? Seriously?

When the accounts are published, you can ask people on here what they mean. Those same people are currently telling you that your belief is unfounded, so sadly i have to agree Ahole is probably correct

If the FFP losses are £20 million in 2016/17 then there will be £19 million available for the next two seasons.

An FFP loss of £20 million is about £28 million of accounting losses though.

Did you not read El P's post that FFP losses are different from accounting losses.
You are starting to look a little bit thick

I don't get the aggressiveness of you or the board moderator El whatever he is. My belief is totally not unfounded and by year end November 2017 we will show bigger losses. So our year end now is 2015/16 at 20 mill. We will have paid more for this beautiful squad we have for this season, probably, PROBABLY adding in more losses if we don't go up. That will leave us with one gung ho season @20 mill or two lay back seasons of just under 10 mill. We are overspending and I think we are right to do so, but we cannot sustain it and when I see people call other clubs cheats, we have to understand that we are ourselves overspending FFP for the spoils of the Prem.

'El whatever his name is', lectures on football finances and is regularly on radio, and tv talking about it. He, on this forum, knows more about it than the rest of us put together.

Call it blowing half the months wages on a payday night out and living the rest of the month on bread and baked beans.

I don't know much about accounts, but I do read others who do. There is no reason for them to lie. There are several qualified accountants who post here and a specialist expert, who can explain the accounts.

I realise you are playing devils advocate, but you are wrong. That isn't abusing you.

I think it is good when someone apologises in recognising their shortcomings.

Deduct them enough points so they don't go up. Simples.
You can't, because you don't find out they've cheated until 6 months after the season has ended, and they've already been promoted.

We are at the current rate "overspending" though if based on the "last" available set of accounts, and that means we will have to in the future,"do" something to stay compliant....or get promoted of course.

Revere him? Did you really mean revere? Respect for him is a better way of phrasing it. Respecting his qualifications.
