We are currently the 5th biggest economy in the world thanks rather a lot to the EU.
Give it 10 years and we'll be about 50th. As long as we're great again though.

Brexit is a disaster because all along, we have been led by a parliament which was extremely pro-remain. In my opinion, policies should have been decided by the major parties prior to the election, this would have immeasurably helped. MP's have been trying to weasel their way from carrying out their democratic duty and you've got to give it to them, they have so far made a huge mess of the process, one so big that even people such as myself can't help wishing it had never happened.

The leavers comprise of distinct goups who have different goals and they were conned into thinking they all could get what they want - all of them, all differently. Brexit can't be done in a way that keeps the Ulsterfolk, the hard borderers and the free traders all happy. Unless they unite they will ensure every plan is voted down. As soon as you move away from the hard brexit contingent, you encounter folk who either want the EU to give us all EU membership benefits at no cost, and soft Brexiters prepared to sacrifice some of our supreme Dalek powers over all things in exchange for deals (anathema to most Brexiters, who do not want Frogs telling is to eat cuboid oranges, etc). Absolute freedom and control over all our things is incompatible with a functioning arrangement - and that's before we start building a wall between Ulster and Eire.
In other words, even the reasonable Brexiters are fantasists. It will never happen.

The reason that the Albion aren't top of the PL and looking forward to a victorious campaign in the Champion's League next season is because the club is run by a load of small minded wimps with no vision, passion, ambition or knowhow. They actually prefer being in the championship.

Theresa May and her government tried to do the impossible - because it is impossible. She could have said bollocks to negociation, we leave with a hard border, passports and visas to travel between Coshquin and Bridge End, between Dover and Calais, between Luton and Faro....(can you imagine Italian lorry drivers having to get a visa to export tomatoes to the UK; but I digress)? Anyway. She could have done that, or she could have sought a deal. Which she did. Unfortunately there is no clear view in parliament what a deal looks like. Not because the majority are remainers, but because they all have a different picture of what a unicorn looks like (and indeed, some don't believe in unicorns but oddly these are in a minority). Boris, Davies and the arse Mogg have not articulated what a deal should look like, let alone got agreement for their 'vision'. But they are not opposed to Brexit. I am surprised you didn't know that.
