You are either in the single market, or you are out. And if you are out and you want to trade, you only get what they are willing to give, you pay for it big time and you will find that they know exactly what they want in return. The terms of the deal will be weighted in their favour because they are several times bigger, it's always the way.
Sure, but the fact is, we will get a better deal that the Remain campaign pretended we would get (for example, May's deal would be better), and even if we didn't get a better deal than they said, it still wouldn't cost UK families what they said it would, because they misrepresented the figures.

Someone needs to get their hand back on the helm, meanwhile the Tories are sp**king £2B up the wall on no deal Brexit planning

Two BILLION pounds when there are homeless people due to housing benefit cuts, the NHS is falling apart and nurses told there is no magic money tree.

They say that it would be " irresponsible " not to allocate money for the damage a no deal scenario may cause. However,It has been " Necessary ", not "irresponsible " to cut Public Services, benefits and impose a wage cap well below inflation on public service workers. What mugs we Brits are.

Not to mention there are 40,000 vacancies for nursing staff right now, and 12,000 doctors. The Home Office is happily turning down applicants from India, whilst Europeans are heading back due to abuse, and uncertainties.
Even May's deal ends Freedom of Movement. Migrants will have to earn more than 30K or be classed as unskilled.
I believe nurses have to reach grade 5 before they earn that figure.

The Tory party is happy to let the NHS run down so they can justify introducing more & more privatisation. The Yanks are itching to step in with their insurances, with all those exclusion clauses.

Experienced Band 6.......Charge Nurse etc.

no. the MoD have some people in logisitics and related areas available and the Minister has put them on standby to assist. people are interpreting this as "soldiers on the streets", because they like the fear. if they were on the street, it would be driving a truck.
as for stockpiling medicines, industry has committed to increasing existing supply chain stockpiles from 2-4 weeks to 6-8 weeks to cover contingency of shipping delay. most food imports by comes in bulk containers, expect it will be stockpiled in similar fashion. yes, it is nonsense.

There are 6000 troops already trained to help in crises. These are extra.

We now spend annually just short of £14 BILLION on overseas foreign aid when here at home there are homeless people due to housing benefit cuts, the NHS is falling apart and nurses told there is no magic money tree.
And you get angry £2bn is being spent on planning for the interests of UK.
Righto.

Sod all, but i never said it did have anything to do with the EU.
The £2bn being spent to alleviate the immediate impact of a no deal brexit is nothing to do with the EU either.

The idea that a supposedly stable and developed country should inflict this upon itself is bonkers, utterly bonkers. And what for?
