Surely a vote of this importance should've been squeezed into this week? If May loses the vote and no deal or even a 2nd vote becomes the option then every day is vital to making preparations for the end of March whatever the outcome?

He's not strictly correct of course, but presumably it was shorthand for saying our abilities to strike a comprehensive trade deal with the US will be affected.

No, some Remainers, showing flexibility and maturity, have put those options forward as alternatives to what they personally prefer.
I'd say that the Leave option you favour was almost certainly not supported by a majority of voters in 2016 and it surely isn't now. Do you claim otherwise?
