Firstly I wasn't asking you and secondly it's a fact that remain voters seem to enjoy telling everyone that lots of Leave voters have died since the referendum. It's all over other sources of social media.

Maybe you should be more careful who you follow on social media

You're ability to look something up on Google, read the headline and misinterpret it is becoming legendary. You are managing to mix up 'The EU' and ' The World' again

The EU (I've attached images if it helps)
View attachment 100659

Chequers Deal
If we make an agreement with 'The EU', we can have borders, no borders, customs, no customs, unicorns pirouetting up and down the border. We can agree anything we like between ourselves and the EU as to what happens on the Ireland/NI issue, and as long as we both agree, problem solved.

The World.

No Deal
If we leave with 'no deal' we have to agree our trading situation with the WORLD Trading Organisation. They like the countries that are trading under them to have borders and customs. This is the organisation that you have been claiming for the last god knows how long doesn't need borders or customs to implement their rules and tariffs. (And, more recently you've also been claiming that post a 'no deal' Brexit, they will all wait while we and the EU try and negotiate an FTA after leaving)

Can you see the difference ?

Now see if you can guess which organisation Mr Barnier represents and which solution his views will effect ?

Now, as you know, I am the first to leap to the defence of Brexiteers when certain posters on here claim they are all thick. But you really aren't helping me at all here, are you

Trying to debate with you is like trying to debate with a lump of slime. Always moving (that’s one similarity - as you seem to like insults). I realise that you like to change the emphasis to suit your own agenda, but there are 2 distinct issues. The first is trade and the NI border and the second is WTO rules.

You’ve gone on in the past about the NI border and WTO rules. I think if the EU are now admitting that there can be a technological solution to not have a hard border, then they must be confident that this would satisfy WTO rules. But, for some reason only known to you (I’ll give you a clue - it’s called delusion), you seem to think that you know more than the UK and the EU.

The stumbling block has been the hard border in NI. Irrespective of anything else Barnier has stated, he has clearly said that a technological solution can be considered for the NI border. So this is about preserving the GFA and at the same time, ensuring that they (the EU) don’t breach WTO rules. If they aren’t in breach, then neither are we.

Do try and keep up at the back - I know you’re old but my patience is wearing out with you. :dunce:

Because you still not knowing what you wanted was 4 weeks ago, long after the chequers plan was announced

But i do know what i wanted, i want to leave the EU.
I have already said there will be a withdrawal agreement and since negotiations are ongoing i dont expect the chequers proposal is in its final state either.

Look at you getting all precious because you were pulled up for asking a stupid question. When you say "seem to enjoy", what you actually mean is that they mention it because for every person dying of old age, the chance of them being a Brexit voter was 2 to 1. It's just a simple fact, it doesn't mean remainers revel in it FFS.

You could have saved a lot of time and typing by saying 'I don't know'.

Now I can go off for dinner, you can get back to your Porn, Puff and getting 'nuts deep in Battlefield 1 with your boys', and we'll both be a lot happier

Is this 'Withdraw article 50' or something else you've made up.

And I take it we can now agree that 4 weeks ago you didn't know what you wanted ?

The withdrawal agreement......you know that thing that has been ongoing since Article 50 was handed in, that thing that is 80% completed, that thing that the European Parliament and our parliament will vote on........why do you omit it from your question

Lots of What ifs, but the moment we started down that path, the end was always obvious (IMHO)

Interesting Article in the FT - unfortunately firewalled but the gist The greatest threat to Brexit is now the Brexiters themselves

Are you still firmly in the we won't leave the EU under any circumstance camp or have you changed

One last time - WTF has Barnier to do with the WTO ?

(And, as a number of other people have already pointed out with regards to the EU/Chequers solution, I think you should read the article :lolol:)

You plank,as i suspected you have got yourself all in a muddle-yet again

There are two ongoing deals.
1/ The withdrawal agreement deal(80% completed)
2/ The future relationship deal

The chequers policy is not the withdrawal agreement, it is a separate entity and addresses the future relationship.
Have a look at the official title of the chequers proposal........should give you a big clue.

Gods country fortnightly
The electorate has changed since we decided to Leave, yet nobody knew what it meant. Now we very nearly do and everyone, even inside government, is arguing about it. New vote needed.

Chequers
No Deal
Stay In.

Which would you all vote for?

Keep it simple...

The deal (no deal, good deal, bad deal, chequers deal)

or

Remain

We've had the Brexit lies we need ratification on the outcome

Its the will of the people (the special 19% of Albion fans that voted Brexit can still vote)
