Can I mention a random 10, taken from leave-supporting friends and TV interviews...

"I thought it was about whether we want more immigrants."
"There's a lack of democratic accountability."
"Too many Russians are buying houses in London"
"The British are different."
"I hate all those freeloaders in Brussels."
"Cameron is boring. I"m voting for an entertainer politician."
"There's a real problem with muslims."
"Calais has got more fishing boats than Margate."
"People down the shops talking jibber-jabber."
"I want to throw out my rulers if I don't like them."

All are genuine. One or two are sensible. My favourite comment wasn't really a comment at all, and came from someone who probably voted Remain. "I think I voted Labour in that referendum thing but I can't remember."

On such shoulders does the future of our country now lie.

One of my best friends responses when asked was: 'Because we couldn't carry on as we were.'

Additionally when asked his solution to the Northern Ireland problem: 'I don't give a **** about Northern Ireland.'

Some of these make our Leaver friends on this thread sound like Bertrand Russell.

Said this from the start, and there are many many more.
I remember on the night of the result, a ferrel, greasy young woman was asked on the news which way she voted, leave she said, when asked why she replied, because I saw it on facebook.
Nobody will ever convince me that the reason most people voted leave was immigration, but they will never admit it of course, and, as above, more to do with Muslims than Poles.
Take the votes from pond life away and remain would have easily won.

Unfortunately, a lot of population were groomed, social media dealt with young uneducated pond life and Dacre, Murdoch and Desmond dealt with the oldies

So you still believe that we can build a hard border with Ireland, all the customs and border controls at every port and airport in the UK and design and build all the IT systems required in 9 months

Tell me, out of interest, what's the minimum amount of time that you think is needed to implement a 'no deal' :lolol:

I can't still believe something I have never believed in the first place. Many in parliament seem very concerned it could happen hence all the scheming to wrest control of the negotations from the government removing it as an option. Perhaps they can invisage a scenario where it could happen I can think of a few.

May will fall - General Election before the end of the year.

The sense of panic will only increase as the implications become better understood and the timescales shorten. I really wouldn't like to predict what will happen to the major political parties and the government.

The only thing that is certain is no 'no deal' and further extensions to membership with no influence (however that is wrapped up and presented to the naive)

And would you like to explain one of these scenarios where we could implement it in 9 months?

Theres no majority in the country for hard Brexit
Theres no majority in the Union for hard Brexit
Theres no majority in parliament for hard Brexit

Let's face the reality of the so-called 'will of the people', like, will of some people:

I'm sure the Governments lawyers are bang on with everything and it's all watertight just like they were with the Article 50 case.

Again I'll go with Ken Clarke QC's opinion for now rather than those that agree with a smug, public school, flying spaghetti monster, red trouser wearing pervert on a football forum like yourself.

:clap:Ah, there is the ickle troubled class warrior, I just knew you were still in there somewhere fighting to get out.
Well done, give yourself another chip.

One of my best friends responses when asked was: 'Because we couldn't carry on as we were.'

Additionally when asked his solution to the Northern Ireland problem: 'I don't give a **** about Northern Ireland.'

My favourites are the potential 7 Million that were gullible and bought Project Fear Ballocks with added doomsday as soon as we voted, the youngster who thought the EU gave the UK the NHS made me laugh, as did the youngster who was beside herself with grief as she thought leaving meant Nandos couldnt operate in the country anymore.......more youngsters voting is clearly the answer.

I'm sure the above is a really fascinating response, but I didn't even bother to read it. Go and amuse yourself to your really nasty porn collection or look at the latest Autumn/Winter red trouser/wax jacket fashion combos etc.

Mess.
Beautiful.

The same amendment now comes back next week, and May now has no trust from the MPs she hoodwinked this week.

You reap what you sow, May - enjoy next week's defeat.
